This is an opportunity for the parents of additional needs or mentally/ physically disabled children to enjoy a day’s respite.
Our qualified and experienced staff work on a one to one basis, if necessary, with the young people attending providing care, supervision and aiding them in the participation of activities, both indoor and outdoor.
Our activities are suited for all abilities and engage the young people with a host of textures, colours and materials, our activities are planned and themed with the year’s events and include life skills such as cooking, healthy eating and physical activities.
The work of our young people is rewarded and presented on the walls of the venue and documented in their personal scrap books.
We find the young people involved gain confidence and continue to learn new skills as well as have experiences that they have not had before.
